C&S 2-4 HOUR FIRE RESISTING ROLLER SHUTTER DOOR MANUFACTURED TO B.S. 476 PARTS 22:

Tested to BS476:Part 22:1987 which was carried out for C&S Shutters by the BRE the Fire test Warrington cerification Body in order to compy with the European standards
Barrel
Constructed from mild steel tube of ample strength with drive disc end blocks and bright mild steel safety bearing shaft. Tube and bearing shaft manufactured according to opening sizes.
Curtain
Constructed from galvanised steel laths in arrange from 0.9mm (20 gauge) to 1.2mm (18 gauge) interlocking along there length to form a continuous curtain.
Guide Section
Constructed from 3mm 65mm / 100mm cold rolled pre-galvanised channel section welded to a 50mm x 75mm pre-galvanised angle with holes to allow thermal expansion during fire situations.
Bottom Rail
The bottom of the shutter curtain is fitted with cold rolled pre- galvanised curtain strengthened T Bar bottom rail.
End Plates
The roller assembly is by zinc plated head plates with the non motor end plate fitted with a control decent safety brake bearing with both head plates mounted on angles for fixing onto the opening structure.
Operation
Electrically operated by electric motor complete with failsafe safety brake fitted on to the non motor side end plate. The motor come complete with a pre wired low voltage open, close, stop, starter as standard IP54 rate, integral travel limit switches, haul chain and pull cord for manual override for use in the event of power failure.

IMPORTANT:
It is essential the the opening structure and the shutter fitted have the same fire rating. ie: 30/60/120/240 minutes fire rating.
